Shot blasting

Shot blasting

Metal shot blasting, also known as sandblasting, is a method of cleaning the surface to prepare it for powder coating.

By creating a rougher surface, the paint applied during the painting process will be more strongly bonded. Shot-blasting strengthens, cleans and polishes the surface, which becomes smooth so that it can be further processed. As a result of this process, the surface is thoroughly cleaned of, among other things, rust, dust or old paint coatings. It also removes ionic contaminants such as salts, nitrates and sulphates, which cause sub-surface corrosion, as well as scale which forms after the rolling of steel.

We have a professional shot-blasting plant with a chamber with dimensions of 6 x 4 x 3 m.
